About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and solution-driven HR professional to join our team in Japan.

This role will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions — from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate is not only strong in execution but also proactive in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the main HR point of contact for Japan, supporting all people-related matters.
Partner with leaders and employees to identify HR challenges and propose practical, effective solutions.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Oversee local HR operations, including payroll coordination, benefits, and labor compliance.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Support performance management, learning and development, and organizational changes.
Collaborate with regional HR and business teams to ensure alignment with group-wide policies and practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of HR experience in Japan, preferably in a fast-paced or international environment.
Strong understanding of Japanese labor law and HR best practices.
Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to execute and follow through.
Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English/Mandarin.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with regional teams.
