Job Overview:
GL events Japan K.K. is the Japanese branch of GL events, a global leader in integrated event solutions and services.
Leveraging decades of expertise in major international sporting events; including the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup and many others, the company delivers end-to-end solutions across event space design, overlay and temporary infrastructure, operations, logistics, and technical support.

GL Events Japan is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee and implement all HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Policies & Procedures:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies in compliance with Japanese labor law.
Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to employment regulations, workplace standards, and statutory requirements.
Payroll Supervision:
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Workforce Insurance:
Manage employee insurance policies, including social insurance, health insurance, and pension schemes as required by Japanese law.
Employee Relations:
Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, handling employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Support hiring processes, onboarding programs, and workforce planning.
Performance & Development:
Coordinate performance reviews and training initiatives to support employee growth.
HR Administration:
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in Japan.
Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law and HR compliance requirements.
Experience in payroll supervision and workforce insurance administration.
Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
