Job Summary: Red Hat Sales Team seeks Commercial Account Partner Sales (Osaka) to handle strategic and rapidly growing accounts. Responsible for prospecting, developing, and selling to new and existing customers. Collaborate with partners to sell innovative solutions to customers considering or building IT systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Sell Red Hat solutions and services to customers in the assigned territory through partners. Visit partner customer accounts and identify potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers and related partners to create and execute account plans, promoting Red Hat's diverse strategies.
- Manage sales pipelines.
- Work with the Marketing department to promote new customer prospects and key personnel.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales to provide technical product information and make proposals.
- Use company-standard customer management (CRM) tools to manage sales forecasts, support partner transactions, and track customer opportunities.
- Generate leads and prospect new customers.
- Develop, execute, and improve solutions tailored to the assigned industry and customers.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of high-touch or partner sales experience.
- Understanding of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Experience in managing sales pipelines, creating sales forecasts, and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in executing strategies with partners.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers based on trust and credibility.
- Ability to work under pressure and focus on results.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and communication at a level suitable for internal meetings).
- Ability to work in a team and maintain creative thinking.
- Passion for open-source technology.
- Experience in business with major system integrators or networks is a plus.
- Experience in selling highly technical solutions is a plus.
