Job Title: Marketing Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in Osaka, Japan. As a key driver of business growth, you will be responsible for executing the approved marketing plan in Japan and the Japanese ecosystem within South East Asia.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, ideally with experience in the software or IT industry. They will have a minimum of 5 years of experience leading marketing activities for an international company and a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of an integrated sales and corporate team, demonstrating flexibility, creativity, and innovative thinking. They will have strong analytical and project management skills, as well as excellent communication, presenting, and networking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt the global Lectra marketing strategy to the Japan market for the segment in line with corporate and local objectives;
- Market intelligence – support Marketing Intelligence Manager in market analysis;
- Create the yearly marketing plan, monitor and execute it, adapt the plan regularly during the year;
- Solution launch (new software & hardware versions) – internal launch, external launch, hunting lists, monitoring;
- Driving and coordinating Lectra's marketing campaigns, align with Sales activities to be efficient and to support Lectra's growth ambition;
- Define and measure results against KPIs;
- Prospecting – research of new prospects according to new solution launches;
- Managing marketing communication activities for Lectra in alignment with Corporate Marketing, local Management, local Sales and Professional Service;
- Supporting pipeline analysis with sales teams in order to put in place marketing actions;
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns;
- Managing and improving lead generation campaigns, measuring results inbound and outbound Managing and qualifying Leads;
- Defining, managing, and executing Events of own hosted events and 3rd party events;
- Responsibility for PR-related activities;
- Develop success stories in the region for fashion & apparel;
- Managing agencies and partnerships and cooperation's with Universities, Associations, and Federations;
- Managing the segment marketing budget;
- Work very closely with Lectra Headquarters for support and feedback – take advantage of best practices – worldwide;
- Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant regional departments are kept informed of marketing objectives & activities;
Requirements:
- B2B marketing background, with ideally an experience in Software or IT industry;
- Have an experience of 5 years minimum in leading marketing activities for an international company;
- Have a degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field from an accredited college or university;
- Native language of Japanese. Fluent English is mandatory. Vietnamese will be a plus.
Salary: Estimated salary is ¥8,000,000 - ¥10,000,000 per year, depending on experience.
