Oncology Key Institution Representative
This role involves expanding the KIM function by establishing the presence of Bayer oncology, maximizing the value of oncology products, shaping the market (Cancer genome, GU franchise), and achieving sustainable competitive advantage and long-term success. This is achieved through strategically building and strengthening the network of key institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing the presence of Bayer oncology and maximizing the value of oncology products
- Supporting the dissemination of marketing messages to sales teams
- Collecting customer insights and competitive activities from key accounts and feeding them back to marketing to inform marketing strategy
- Planning and implementing marketing events based on marketing strategy
- Creating individual account plans and executing strategies and tactics based on account plan
- Collaborating with Sales Office Managers/MRs to resolve area issues
- Establishing and building strong relationships with key opinion leaders/speakers who understand and support the message of Bayer products
Requirements:
- University Degree or above
- At least 5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry marketing or MSL or key account marketing (KAM) experience preferred; oncology therapeutic area knowledge essential
- High performance track record as MR
- Working experience in HQ with company-level view preferred
- Experience with diagnostic products preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a curiosity for working in new settings
- Strong interpersonal skills (negotiation, presentation, facilitation, questioning) and analytical/logical thinking skills
- Japanese: Native-level; English: Business-level (TOEIC 600+) for managerial level employees

Estimated Salary: ¥5,500,000 - ¥6,500,000 per annum
