Role Purpose:
- Implement region-wide business plan to develop and grow market-leading product portfolio in PA Division.
- Identify new business potential with PA components and complete solutions, working with sales teams or distributors.
- Contribute to good customer relationships and smooth sales team operations.
- Ensure PA portfolio for assigned region, with necessary products for success.
The role's success depends on communicating with stakeholders in the Process Automation and Explosion protection market in Japan.
Major Accountabilities:
- Develop working knowledge of P+F PA Interface and its solutions offerings.
- Define and develop distributor network for PA Interface and its solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with End User and System Integrator customers.
- Document activities via P+F CRM system.
- Support sales opportunities on large and international projects.
- Support internal and external customers as required.
- Understand international and local process automation standards.
- Self-manage travel and customer activities within budget.
- Interact with P+F affiliates and factories for product offer and sales forecasting.
Role Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Process Industries throughout Japan, with market knowledge on electromechanical products.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in Japanese and English.
- Business management skills, experience with area sales managers and project teams.
- Promote and sell PA Interface and its solutions into hazardous area applications.
- Knowledge of process control methods, instrumentation, and relevant legislation.
- Self-motivated, good time-management skills, and ability to persuade and influence others.
- Ambitious, hands-on, and results-oriented for responsible KPIs.
- Ability to prioritize work items and effectively escalate issues.
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Computer literate with experience in using CRM system.
- Disciplined, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.
