Solutions Architect
Job Summary
The Solutions Architect is an entry-level position working tactically for clients using existing methods and procedures on new pre-sales assignments.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic technology solutioning support to global field and channel sales.
- Support account technology strategy development with Account Executives.
- Prepare and conduct customer workshops.
- Deliver customer presentations.
- Develop peer relationships with customers.
- Demonstrate Equinix values through compelling solutions.
Research and Development
- Maintain industry awareness through training and research.
- Collaborate on relevant technology trends.
- Analyze technology impacts.
- Recommend based on research findings.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Maintain industry awareness through training and reading.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Interface with stakeholders on technology and service initiatives.
Technology and Innovation Insights
- Provide technical expertise to Sales, Marketing, and Industry.
- Brief Sales teams on new technology impacts.
- Brief Sales teams on features and selling points of new Equinix products.
Solution Development
- Analyze customer context and technological statuses.
- Develop solutions in technology, processes, and implementation plans.
- Share findings in customer presentations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Network, Datacentre, Enterprise IT Systems, or related fields.
- 5+ years of Solutions Selling experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline preferred.
- Advanced industry certifications preferred.
