Global Blue is a global company operating in VAT refunds to travellers, and is a leading company with the largest amount of TFS transactions in Japan. The Local Accounts team is responsible for retrieving technical requirements from merchants and local vendors, and implementing our attractive systems and services to our fast-growing business in Japan while meeting Japanese quality standards. The holder of this position will work with IT Manager, Local Accounts Japan, and will be responsible for managing mid/small size projects, gathering requirements from merchants and local vendors, and performing BAU such as trouble shooting, execution of UAT, and preparing Business Requirement Specification in new projects. Key responsibilities include retrieving technical requirements from stakeholders, understanding Japanese regulation, merchants' operation, and market trends, and developing a plan for implementation considering the rollout plan. The position also requires close communication with internal and external stakeholders, execution of internal approval process, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have IT or Technology education, 7+ years of working experience, and rich experience of developing front end solutions and multi platform applications. They will also have minimum JAVA, C# programming skill, and demonstrated experience in managing projects / work streams within projects. Excellent communication skills across international teams, organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills are also required. Work experience within an international/multicultural environment is preferred, and project management certification is a plus. The candidate should also have Excel VBA programming skill, native Japanese language skills, and fluent English language skills.
