Job Title: Account Director in Japan
The Account Director in Japan will oversee the entire customer journey for our gaming clients, focusing on building relationships, growing revenue through upsells, and ensuring renewals are core performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage business in Japan and grow Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by managing renewals and upsells.
- Engage in c-level discussions with customers to strategize their use cases with our platform.
- Create, manage, and implement Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Proactively understand clients' businesses to provide competitive insights and trends.
- Collaborate with global product, engineering, and other technical teams to enhance our product offerings in Japan.
- FOLLOW industry trends and interpret them into day-to-day business impact.
- Understand the product development cycle and effectively communicate between product teams and customers to manage expectations on feature requests and releases.
- Identify product penetration, renewal, and upsell opportunities within the managed customer base.
Requirements:
- Experience in SaaS sales as a BDR, SDR, AE or Account Manager.
- Strong understanding of Japan's mobile games industry and digital ecosystem.
- Able to identify product penetration, renewal, and upsell opportunities within the managed customer base.
- Able to present complex data solutions in a clear and concise manner to various audiences, including non-technical.
- Self-starting attitude and entrepreneurial spirit highly encouraged.
- An eye for detail following industry trends and interpreting them into day-to-day business impact.
- PREFER working in small, fast-paced teams where you can take initiative and accountability, and generate results every day.
