Join Our Finance Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Tokyo office. As a key member of the finance team, you will report to the Tokyo Managing Director and Regional Finance Director in Singapore.
Your Role:
- Oversee office full accounting functions including but not limited to: Project accounting, accounts payable, general ledger financial reporting and analysis, and month end closing.
- Conduct performance comparative analysis for the office, studios (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly).
- Reconcile Firmwide (global) Vision books to local accounting standards for the office.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and assist in collection efforts when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations working closely with the local office Studio Directors and Project Managers.
- Assist Regional Finance Director in annual budget and reforecast.
- Deadline enforcement for billing, cash requirements, expense reports and expenses.
- Key person of accounting contact for the offices - responsible for disseminating information, and provide advice and support for other Accounting Managers in the firm.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, with 10 plus years working experience in accounting or financial planning and analysis area in a multi-national company.
- Solid knowledge of Japan Accounting Standard; Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is a plus.
- Good understanding of Japan tax regulations and tax accounting principals e.g. VAT, Income Tax and Deferred Tax etc.
