Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring legal and corporate finance & accounting compliance, including group reporting, tax filing, IFRS / J-GAAP closing, and internal control. They will also drive process optimization for financial reporting.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and corporate finance and accounting requirements (e.g. group reporting, J-GAAP reporting and tax filing).
  • Provide accurate financial data to internal and external parties in a timely manner.
  • Manage corporate tax compliance to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate tax returns, taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes/policies.
  • Oversee inter-company transfer pricing documentation on the legal entity level and align with the global tax department.
  • Prepare BEPS local file and submit it to the tax authority in a timely manner.
  • Direct maintenance of fixed asset records and related depreciation accounts in accordance with the local tax law.
  • Undertake analyses on financial operational results to provide information and recommendation to management according to the defined scope and approaches.
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to other units within the financial/tax disciplines.
  • Participate in special projects by providing financial recommendations.
  • Maintain awareness of government/corporate/company regulation development to ensure the financial compliance and adherence of all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Commerce)
  • Certified tax accountant preferred
  • Experience in finance reporting as well as audit procedure > 5 years

Technical Skills:

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) as an user

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
