About the Role:

This role offers a promising start to a fulfilling career within the Client Service group. It serves as preparation for career advancement into client services, product management, product development, investment consulting, sales, or other fields at Morningstar. You will develop coveted skills, gaining exposure to Morningstar's business, and interpreting client needs to represent our capabilities expertly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Data product, Enterprise Component, Dynamic Service API, Morningstar Publishing System, Research, and Direct client base for timely project production, quality assurance, and delivery to client satisfaction.
  • Own, coordinate, and resolve data, functional, and technical issues.
  • Proactively build effective client relationships by anticipating and listening to client needs and being responsive.
  • Contribute to the renewal process, driving a strong renewal rate by managing client satisfaction levels, refining existing client solutions, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain insight into data, research, and technology solutions and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with global data & product teams for efficient delivery of new or existing data sets & product capabilities to clients.
  • Drive legacy retirement in coordination with product management, implementation teams, and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Customer-oriented with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Organized with an analytical approach and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to think strategically when solving problems.
  • Strong internal and external partnerships and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent data knowledge, investment, and analytical skills.
  • Sound technical understanding of systems, data collection, and delivery.
  • Knowledge of the investment and competitive landscape and market trends impacting clients.
  • Prior experience supporting financial practices or financial software solutions is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong academic record.
  • At least 2-3 years of client service and support experience.
