Job Title: Technical Account Manager
The Technical Account Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on the integration and implementation of Synacor products and services.
- Liaise with internal teams at Synacor, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Manage client accounts, including ticket resolution and operational changes.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering positive dynamics and effective communication.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure client requirements are accurately understood and implemented in all client-facing projects.
- Provide clear and objective reports on project status, issues, and risks.
- Keep external stakeholders informed of project progress.
- Analyze technical issues to identify and communicate project requirement gaps.
- Facilitate technical issue escalation and resolution through critical decision-making and team consensus.
- Advocate for clients throughout the project and product management processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent Japanese language skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in Japan.
- 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in technology or internet industries.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience, with a focus on client relationships.
- 3-5 years of software development or technical support experience, including escalation engineering.
- Experience working with offshore teams and communicating in English.
- Professional experience with telecommunications companies, carriers, or service providers in application services.
- Basic knowledge of web technologies and agile project management methodologies.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
