Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead the organization's Information Technology function, providing technical and strategic leadership for the Head of R&D, products, and project management function.

The CTO will oversee four key units: Research and Development Management, Business Systems Development, IT Business Operations Management, and Infrastructure & Database Management.

The role holder will collaborate with Top Management to ensure the organization has the requisite technology infrastructure and capabilities to support business goals and objectives.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide input for the formulation of policies for the Department.
• Ensure the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of policies, programs, and activities.
• Exercise oversight responsibility for the efficient and effective management of human, material, and financial resources.
• Establish ambitious yet achievable development milestones.
• Partner with Production and Product to build a long-term roadmap.
• Spearhead the development of scalable technical solutions.
• Align the company's technology vision with its short-term and long-term business goals.
• Lead an engineering department with diverse skills and experience levels.
• Identify, evaluate, and select potential technical partners, libraries, and technologies.
• Implement engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
• Stay on the forefront of tech and gaming trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on database management interface.
• Ensure security and integrity of automated systems.
• Oversee Performance Management System implementation.
• Prepare annual work plan and budget.
• Prepare annual and periodic reports.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in building multiplayer online games.
• 7+ years of management experience, preferably as CTO or equivalent position.
• Experience releasing AA+ or AAA persistent multiplayer games.
• Extensive knowledge of game technologies and programming languages.
• Development and deployment expertise in online games.
• Pragmatic prioritizing and implementing effective solutions under pressure.
• Strong business judgment to guide technology-related decisions.
• Proven experience hiring and mentoring top-notch engineering teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
