We are seeking a Director, Human Resources to lead all HR functions for DNK's growing operations in Japan.
Reporting directly to the Japan CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent, while fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture aligned with DNK's mission and values.
This leadership role will partner closely with business leaders to drive organizational growth, build scalable HR processes, and ensure compliance with local labor laws and best practices.
We are especially looking for someone who is proactive about coming up with proposals for employment policies, improvement of processes, selection of relevant vendors etc.
Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
Business Level English (will need to communicate with Korea occasionally, weekly internal meeting in English)
Preferably 7+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
