Position OverviewAs the Director of Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner, you will lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate roles and act as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders.
This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams and driving people initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead full-cycle recruitment for corporate and executive roles; support retail and graduate hiring.
Partner with business leaders and global HR teams to align talent strategies with business goals.
Act as a brand ambassador to attract top talent and promote the company's employer value proposition.
Develop job specs, search strategies, and talent pipelines for succession planning.
Drive sourcing initiatives across direct sourcing, referrals, social media, and agency partnerships.
Manage visa sponsorships, relocations, and ensure compliance with hiring protocols.
Own onboarding and internal branding initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
Support cross-functional HR projects including recruitment tech, employer branding, and L&D.
Collaborate on headcount planning and workforce strategy aligned with financial targets.
Contribute to HR leadership discussions and support resolution of labor-related matters.
Deliver quarterly talent updates and communications.
Qualifications
8+ years of HR experience, ideally in a corporate or in-house setting.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
Fluent in English and Japanese.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
