Sr. Manager/Director - Global EHS & Sustainability Strategy & Operations
The Global EHS and Sustainability Director oversees the company's global EHS projects, sustainability initiatives, and ISO system implementation, ensuring compliance across all operations and regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the global EHS and Sustainability PMO, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement EHS and Sustainability project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
- Coordinate with regional and functional leaders to ensure EHS compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainability goals are met.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of EHS and sustainability projects across the organization.
- Monitor and report on the status of EHS and sustainability projects, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization, driving initiatives that improve the company's environmental footprint.
- Manage the EHS and Sustainability PMO budget and resources.
- Ensure continuous improvement of EHS project management practices and sustainability initiatives through benchmarking and lessons learned.
- Manage and coordinate EHS training programs across the organization, ensuring employees are adequately trained and informed about EHS policies, procedures, and sustainability goals.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO systems (such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), ensuring compliance with international standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management or related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in EHS, project management, sustainability initiatives, training management, and ISO system management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, sustainability practices, and ISO systems.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to travel as needed.
$150,000 - $200,000 per year
