Job Title: Lead / Senior Emission Analyst
As a key member of our Global Sustainability Team, you will lead critical emissions data collection efforts at Micron's R&D and manufacturing sites worldwide using advanced technologies. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, site leaders, and global teams to measure, optimize, and report on emissions, driving Micron towards net-zero goals.
Responsibilities
Perform Actual Emissions Measurement & Reporting
- Pre-measurement calibration of FTIR and/or analytics technologies.
- Coordinate with site manufacturing teams for process recipe and dilution flow requirements.
- Partner with site manufacturing and facility teams to perform abatement destruction and removal efficiencies (DRE) measurement and optimization.
- Analyze measured data and write comprehensive measurement reports.
- Maintain and troubleshoot FTIR and/or analytical technologies in collaboration with instrument suppliers.
Optimize Actual Emissions Measurement & Reporting Procedures
- Create and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for abatement DRE measurement and reporting.
Innovation and Training
- Partner with suppliers and ventures to explore and deploy forward-looking analytics technologies.
- Develop training materials on emissions measurement and conduct training courses for emission analysis technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with FTIR technologies.
- Proficient in English language.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
