Senior/Engineer Pump, Abatement and Chiller & Tool Installation Qualification (Evergreen)
As the Operations Central Team (OCT) Pump, Abatement and Chiller (PAC) & Tool Installation Qualification (TIQ) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build growth mindset, facilitate and drive improvement on Micron PAC & TIQ engineering globally, driving global business processes, and enabling the leverage of worldwide resources to deliver industry benchmark methods. You are responsible for leading activities to achieve Best in Class (BIC) PAC & TIQ performance across the network and industry.
You will work closely with sites to identify areas of opportunities and analyze their performance-to-plan data to improve PAC & TIQ performance. Micron attracts diversified and talented candidates to build innovative solutions for all aspects.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Lead and continuously improve the PAC & TIQ business processes, continual improvement project and BKM alignment.
- Facilitate and drive global peer groups to align strategy and roadmap to achieve area objectives. Build metrics with clear line of sight to strategic objectives. Drive alignment to demonstrate performance improvement and hold accountability to those decisions. Share best methods across all sites regardless of technology and site mission differences.
- Review and lead current Micron Sites PAC & TIQ performance, identify gaps and opportunities to achieve BIC performance.
- Lead PAC & TIQ alignment and improvement to meet Micron PAC & TIQ objectives. Align procedures and define requirements based on technical assessment and lesson learns.
- Drive continuous improvement in multiple aspects such as safety, Capex, cash cost, equipment performance, sustainability, new technology introduction, first of a kind tool enablement and etc.
- Engage suppliers for Continuously improvement to achieve BIC PAC & TIQ performance.
- Develop and improve Micron PAC & TIQ documentations when needed, includes PAC & TIQ specification, PAC & TIQ configuration and related process qualification data.
- SUPPORT critical tool installation scenarios and work with sites to implement BIC method for fastest TIQ schedule recovery.
