Job Title: Strategic Sales Leader for Japanese Market

Role Overview:

In this crucial leadership position, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the platform within assigned territories and/or accounts. You must have a deep understanding of how to have context-based conversations with C-Level executives and drive superior growth initiatives in the Japanese market.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and business partners to foster opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Articulate the value of the platform to decision makers and expertly manage complex sales cycles.
  • Nurture and develop relationships within assigned territories and/or accounts, presenting the value of the platform to the C-suite.
  • Work with Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting and sales efforts within assigned territories and/or accounts.
  • Generate appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene.
  • Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align growth initiatives with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in strategic sales and significant enterprise software sales experience, with a history of generating and closing large and complex software transactions with major customers in the region.
  • A team-oriented mentality, with the ability to manage and utilize virtual resources to tackle large and complex sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite level contacts.
  • Background building and cultivating relationships with partner ecosystems to bring a partner-centric go-to-market approach to customers.
  • The ability to evangelize and build new business opportunities within assigned territories and/or accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese market, culture, and business practices.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, in Japanese and English.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams to achieve results.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
