Agency Development Director (Japan)

Job Overview

The Agency Development Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies with agency holding companies and large independent media agencies in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders at agency holding groups.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within holding company and major independent agencies.
  • Nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships with leaders of holding company and major independent agencies.
  • Plan and execute partnership programs with holding company and major independent agencies, and with select direct clients.
  • Build and deliver programs to educate agency teams on Taboola's solutions.
  • Support and guide Taboola's Enterprise sales teams towards their sales success within holding company and major independent agencies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working within or alongside holding group agencies.
  • Positive reputation and relationships across senior leaders at agency holding groups.
  • Vast knowledge of the Japan media industry landscape, with a digital specialisation.
  • Proven track record of obtaining and closing high value sales opportunities.
  • Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to communicate complex solutions to a range of audiences.
