HR Director
to lead and strengthen the HR and Talent function of a
multi-site, operationally intensive organization
in Japan.

This role plays a key part in supporting business growth by building strong recruitment foundations, improving retention, and enabling leadership decisions through data.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment for manager-level positions and above
  • Define hiring requirements, processes, and evaluation frameworks
  • Manage and support internal recruiters / TA teams
  • Improve recruitment quality, speed, and offer acceptance rates
  • Monitor key HR indicators such as:
  • hiring progress
  • attrition
  • retention
  • Organize, visualize, and report HR data to leadership
  • Identify trends and risks across locations and periods

What we're looking for

  • Solid hands-on experience in HR and recruitment
  • Experience leading or managing Talent Acquisition professionals
  • Strong collaboration skills with operational teams
  • Confidence working with numbers, reporting, and Excel-based tracking
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English (email-level)
  • A structured, process-oriented mindset

Experience in
multi-site or service-oriented organizations
is a strong advantage.
