A global technology company is looking for a Senior HR Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will collaborate with our People Team, supporting business leads and employees in country operations. This role is based in Tokyo.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full employee life cycle support, from onboarding to off-boarding
- Support local employees and team leads with HR and people-related questions
- Collaborate with local partners, such as payroll and legal, to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations
- Assist in building and influencing HR strategy across the organisation
- Manage HR system updates and ensure employee data quality
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in people or HR operations (fast-growing and fast-paced environment is a plus)
- Experience with HR systems, payroll, people policies and compensation, absence, and working time-relevant topics
- Knowledge of people processes in line with the Japan Labor Standard Act and other related regulations
- Prior experience in HR solution administration and policy design is ideal
- Fluent level Japanese and English
