The Technology Platforms Division (TPD) is responsible for building and operating the infrastructure and ecosystem platforms which power the Rakuten Group. Our mission is to provide Rakuten Cloud and Ecosystem Platforms which will deliver the core value needed to accelerate the growth of Rakuten Group services.
Department Overview
The Technology Platforms General Management Office (TPGMO) mission is to "Maximize TPD members' ability to achieve our shared goal". We work towards this by covering a wide range of areas including budget management, HR business partner functions, general affairs and facilities management.
Position:
Position Details
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HRBP to join our group. The HRBP will play a critical role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives and leading HR initiatives. This individual will serve as a strategic partner and advisor to both management and employees, ensuring the successful implementation of HR programs and initiatives that support our organization's goals.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, such as organizational restructuring, change management, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements.
Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to HR team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure HR practices are current and compliant.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering and project management
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing HR projects, such as organizational restructuring and change management
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Experience working in a global and highly diverse organization
Desired Qualifications:
Japanese language skills highly advantageous
Experience in talent management, succession planning, and performance management
Knowledge of HR management and systems
