We are seeking an IT Manufacturing Application Engineer to join our team at Micron.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, operating, and maintaining various applications within Micron's production systems.
The key objective of this role is to provide high-value solutions while minimizing impactful issues on the production line.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with related departments and other locations to establish cooperative frameworks for system changes
- Analyze and troubleshoot system problems
- Understand the impact and scope of software development changes
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve performance issues to ensure system stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support end-user testing
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for system and user operations (approximately every 10 days)
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL) and SQL skills
- Scripting experience with any language
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows operations
- ITIL knowledge
- Ability to identify root causes of complex problems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Proficiency in English and Japanese to facilitate global team collaboration and customer communication
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
