Job Title: Mechanical Engineer, Global Facilities & Construction North Asia
The Mechanical Engineer will provide high quality engineering services and support for the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities systems in support of semiconductor manufacturing sites across the Micron Manufacturing Network in North Asia region (China, Taiwan and Japan).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, leadership, and expertise to site facilities and manufacturing teams in North Asia region.
- Collaborate with internal partners and collaborators including technology development team, procurement, finance, legal, etc.
- Develop and maintain system standards, specifications, and best known methods (BKMs) for micron systems, equipment, and components.
- Analyze system designs to identify improvements resulting in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
- Support site problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies as requested.
- Benchmark within and external to micron sites on engineering best practices and BKMs of facilities buildings and systems.
Design and Construction Project Support:
- Support new large-scale facilities infrastructure expansion projects.
- Develop system design concepts and standards for deployment into design and construction projects.
- Ensure communication with local facilities, design, construction, procurement, and manufacturing partners as required to deliver project objectives.
Demonstrate EHS Ownership:
- FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROCEDURES TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE.
- Demonstrate awareness of local permit policies, codes, and regulations and deploy them to the chemical team.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
