Manufacturing Alignment Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Alignment Engineer to join our Central Team at Micron Technology.
About the Role
This is a critical role in driving improvements to manufacturing capability, delivering industry benchmark methods at the lowest cost, and leading the execution of global standards across process areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing Total Productive Management (TPM) principles to achieve world-class manufacturing performance
- Collaborating with SITES, Procurement, Global Quality and other OCT departments to accomplish objectives
- Traveling internationally as needed to support site operations
Key Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Alignment Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing TPM 6S audits and Gemba walks in the Fab using the 6S audit checklist and reporting performance to site leadership
- Engaging areas and enabling the implementation of TPM steps to standard
- Prioritizing tasks and raising roadblocks to the implementation of TPM steps
- Participating in weekly site TPM meetings hosted by site champion
- Hosting monthly Site TPM forum with site leadership
- Hosting Asia/Global TPM meetings
- Formulating new TPM projects or designing improvements
- Surfacing gaps in the TPM program for enhancement using site BKMs
- Leading Labor Efficiency Programs and other sub-projects
- Collaborating with TPM site owners to resolve site challenges
- Creating methodologies to improve TPM Key Performance Indicator globally
- Adopting benchmarking and delivering strategies to close gaps
- Challenging complacency and ensuring strong market conditions do not give a false sense of reality
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as Photo (Scanner or Track) Equipment Engineer
- Good communication skills in English and Japanese
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
