Plant Quality Control Manager
About the Role
The Plant Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a quality management system (QMS) that aligns with corporate quality policies.
- Develop and implement QMS procedures to ensure adherence throughout the manufacturing process.
- Identify areas for improvement within production processes and implement effective solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage and develop the quality control team, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Oversee and coordinate quality control testing and inspection processes.
- Analyze test data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a quality control department.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English (both written and oral).
Estimated Salary: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000 per year
