Micron Technology innovates memory and storage solutions that accelerate information transformation.
As an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Engineer, you will develop, implement, and improve Micron's safety and health programs, ensuring personnel and plant-wide Health and Safety.
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Developing effective environmental programs and procedures that conform to management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting in achieving site sustainability goals through committee participation and project feedback.
- Presenting environmental matters to Micron Leadership and regulatory agencies through written and verbal communication.
- Conducting accurate environmental calculations and submitting reports to regulatory agencies.
- Determining applicability of environmental regulations.
- Making decisions based on verifiable facts.
- Completing internal auditor training and assisting in EHS management system audits.
- Coordinating, managing, and conducting environmental walkthroughs, inspections, and audits.
- Investigating incidents and events, determining root cause, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collecting and communicating environmental metrics and performance measurements.
- Developing and providing environmental training.
- Providing customer support and technical expertise for environmental issues.
- Developing cost-effective solutions for environmental issues.
