Job Title: Advanced Technology Application Engineer, Metrology
The Advanced Technology Application Engineer, Metrology will be mainly responsible for creating/ modifying metrology recipes and building detection for yield and quality improvement. The role will correspond with all product-related items and perform transfers from TD. You will work with a team of other PI, process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing metrology recipes to improve product quality and reliability, working on detection enhancement, yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Recipe healthiness evaluation/exploration of new methodology/Capacity/Quality/Yield (Detection and new responsibility)
- Development in collaboration with technology development team to meet Micron's technology roadmap
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Have basic level semiconductor knowledge
- Have knowledge equal to Bachelor's degree
- Report progress of each task timely and accurately
- Build good relationships with team members/all related members/Network Business Partners
- Have good communication and presentation skill
- Be able to have conversations and create documents in English
- Understand quality control and establish a proactive quality control
- Ability to clearly communicate with content experts, written and oral (via conference calls)
- Proven ability to set, measure and achieve short and long-term goals
- Must be willing to be stationed in F15 MFG (Hiroshima manufacturing) site and when required for an extended period of time
Good to Have:
- Have high level semiconductor knowledge
- Have knowledge equal to Master's degree
- Micron basic knowledge (Transfer experience/BKM etc)
- Understanding of the Micron world-wide team structure, standards and processes
- An overall understanding of typical step sequences in a memory manufacturing traveler
