The Advanced Technology Application Engineer, Metrology at Micron Technology, Inc. will be responsible for creating and modifying metrology recipes and building detection methods for yield and quality improvement. This role will involve corresponding with all product-related items and transferring tasks from TD.

This engineer will work with a team of PI, process, and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing metrology recipes to improve product quality and reliability. Responsibilities include:

• Recipe healthiness evaluation and exploration of new methodologies
• Capacity, quality, and yield improvement (detection and new responsibilities)

The successful candidate will have:

• Basic level semiconductor knowledge
• A degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work with teams and build good relationships
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Understanding of quality control and ability to establish proactive quality control
• Ability to set, measure, and achieve short- and long-term goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced semiconductor knowledge
• Master's degree or higher
• Metrology knowledge
• Micron basic knowledge (transfer experience/BKM, etc.)
• Understanding of the Micron worldwide team structure, standards, and processes
• An overall understanding of typical step sequences in a memory manufacturing traveler

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
