Clean, Coat, Repair, Refurb Engineer

This role is part of a team driving Spare Part management improvement. You will partner with High Volume Manufacturing, Cost teams, Procurement, Quality, and other business partners to achieve Micron's strategic Japan Business Ecosystem objective and goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead/SUPPORT spare management improvement activities to meet site strategies programs - Cost/Scale/Quality/Cycle Time (Speed) goal, working with multi-functional groups such as Manufacturing, Procurement and Operation Central Team teams.
• Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance to area teams to create and/or identify the best solutions, troubleshoot existing solutions, and deploy new solutions.
• Monitor and communicate progress to partners.
• Discuss with Global/other sites and Domestic/International suppliers.
• Work with the Global Bench team and Local Suppliers to expand In-house/domestic repairs and find/implement the best solutions and Advanced technologies.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years of experience in manufacturing
• Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering.
• Enthusiasm for learning, growth and personal development.
• English communication skills (must be willing to learn English).
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment and persistence in achieving goals.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of counterparts to achieve ultimate goals.
• Ability to manage time and multi-task abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
