Key Responsibilities
This role requires proficiency in primary toolsets and the ability to acquire additional systems and applications. The successful candidate will perform startup activities with limited support through Tier II, completing qualifications with minimal assistance.
Responsibilities include completing quality repairs, actively responding to fab issues by communicating with engineers in other locations, and participating in escalation conference calls. Additionally, this role may involve initiating or participating in projects to drive down costs or increase uptime, as well as carrying out action plans and reporting findings.
The ideal candidate will follow all checklists and procedures, ensuring correct Revs of procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work. This may also involve identifying procedural issues and implementing corrective actions.
Another key responsibility is the ability to perform most retrofits on equipment, assist in process issues, and apply diagnostic techniques using documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
A successful team player will assume responsibility for full customer satisfaction, ensuring excellent relations within assigned areas. They will demonstrate a strong interest and knowledge of the customer's business, building and maintaining customer satisfaction through clear, consistent communication and the sharing of collective knowledge.
Other Requirements
This is a physically demanding position that often requires extensive walking, standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 35 lbs., distinguishing between colors, and working in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals.
Because this position involves working in a clean room, it requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
