CMPプロセスエンジニアとして、主に製品品質を向上させるためのプロセスの立ち上げ、開発、最適化、プロセス歩留まり改善、コスト削減、生産性向上、リスク管理、製造ラインの問題解決を担当します。また、故障解析、FMEA、8DまたはSPC/FDC手法を適用し、工程に関連する問題を特定、診断、解決することも求められます。工程、設備、材料の評価/最適化を調整、実施し、工程段階での変更を実施します。サプライヤー・ベンダーと協力しながら、歩留まり改善とコスト最適化活動を主導します。

プロセスエンジニアの役割は、担当プロセスの健全性を監督し、高品質のアウトプットを確保し、ファブサイクルタイム(CT)やターン数に影響を与える可能性のあるボトルネックに対して積極的な冗長計画を提供することです。

  • コーディング/機械学習/JMPスクリプトを必要とする過去の自動化プロジェクトを通じて実証された自動化スキル

    • As a CMP Process Engineer you will be primarily responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality, driving process yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. You will also be required to identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodology. Coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost optimization activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and collaborating with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk mitigation objectives.

    The Process Engineer role is responsible for supervising the health of their assigned processes, ensuring high-quality output, and providing proactive redundancy plans for bottlenecks that could impact Fab cycle time (CT) or turns.

    Skills/Experience sought out for this role:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • DRAM process knowledge
  • DRAM development and manufacturing experience
  • Proven Automation skills through previous automation projects requiring coding/machine learning/JMP Scripting
  • Strong ability to perform functions of this role described above with minimal direction/guidance
  • Strong logic and problem-solving skills and thought processes with successful demonstrated experience and approach it with the demeanor "how can I resolve this today"
  • Mature understanding of the process flow related to area equipment, SPC principles, and recipe management
  • leadership skills with the shown ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groups
  • Able to efficiently organize multifunctional teams to complete projects to solve an array of problems as well as coordinate meetings and initiate follow-up actions having the demeanor, "how will I make a difference today"
  • Strong partnering and teamwork skills
  • Ability to communicate and present optimally to all audiences using the intended question "who needs to know this?"
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve sophisticated problems, project management, resolve process issues, and develop procedures or actions plans when one isn't in place
  • Strong understanding of physics, area chemistry, and algebraic concepts as well as analytical problem-solving skills
  • Mature time management, organization, and prioritization skills
