Young Professional Program description We offer a special 18-month program, split into three six-month rotations on the job, normally in three different countries, in three different supply chain areas. The program is designed to help you fully develop yourself on a personal and professional level by understanding our end-to-end supply chain processes, including the interdependencies and interconnectedness between different areas. You will gain industry-specific knowledge and leverage the experience of experts in our different locations and Opcos. Who we're looking for: Academic achievement: Strong technical academic background; Master's in for example Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or Business Administration. Local hiring company - home location You will spend the first six months at your home location (Japan) gaining on-the-job experience with a real-life job, learning about key supply chain processes, systems, respective goods and services and dataflows. In parallel, you will also start to develop your personal network in a collaborative environment. Plant and Opco locations After the first six months working from your home location, you will spend several months in some of our international plants and locations. The focus here will be on gaining additional perspectives and learning about the day-to-day operational and strategic challenges. At this point, you may identify potential improvements to help us along in our continuous drive for optimization. YPP Academy Weeks Each rotation starts with a Skills Development Academy week focused on job-specific learning and personal development. You will also meet your fellow global Young Professionals and benefit from a wide range of trainings and events. During all the phases of your traineeship, you will work as part of the Supply Chain team on a challenging position, global project, operational business tasks and attend several training courses.   • Technical p roject management
  • Develops technical project objectives by drafting maintenance of CAPEX project proposals and plans
  • Determines project specifications in line with operations requirements, and performance standards; completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates
  • Evaluates and validates design alternatives to create optimum designs.

  • Projects
  • Participates as a team member in a broad CAPEX assignments, or leads project teams in maintenance and CAPEX projects
  • Participate in assigned installation and/or maintenance projects, within the project management guidelines.
  • Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
  • Monitoring and auditing
  • Conducts technical audits and ad hoc monitoring of existing installations and relevant equipment in order to support the technical availability of the installation
  • Generates reports regarding project / installation status, progress of maintenance and project work, incidents and update relevant systems as well as technical documents as required.
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Defines maintenance and engineering standards, procedures and approaches for the assigned area, in order to enhance the quality and availability of the installation
  • Troubleshoots in case of (recurring) malfunctions, problems or other issues; Suggests solutions to prevent malfunctions from recurring
  • Assists in preparing, planning and scheduling maintenance and project work; Supervises (scheduled and non-scheduled) maintenance work, carry out testing and generate and implement solutions and/or corrective action to installation and maintenance problems. May actively participate in the execution of the work whilst supervising
  • May maintain or supervise inventory management of equipment, parts, and supplies to ensure availability of equipment / spare parts for continuous production
  • Leads maintenance continuous improvement methodologies and best practices such as TPM, spare part mgt, Cost of ownership optimization, supplier tenders in the field of maintenance with purchasing ....
  • Technical leadership
  • Provides technical leadership to a group of (permanently of temporarily) assigned engineers and technicians.
  • Stays abreast of the latest developments in maintenance and engineering
  • Acts as a technical consultant on maintenance and engineering; Contributes to the development of Nutreco technical standards
