Solutions Consultant, Legal
Combine technology with legal expertise. Drive gross sales by developing and closing solutions sales opportunities. Engage customers in the sales process, providing solution and product expertise. Identify offerings that drive sales and increase customer retention. Advise and consult with customers and the sales team to determine product needs.
About the Role
- Engage in solution advocacy using best-in-class technology, providing solution and product expertise during the sales cycle.
- Understand customer requirements and find the best solution within Thomson Reuters' Services capability to develop a suitable and strong proposal.
- Manage, lead, and execute product demonstrations during the customer buying cycle.
- Respond quickly to new leads, working with urgency to progress deals through the sales cycle.
- Develop and help to close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright Gross Sales quotas.
- Keep up to date with news and changes in policy, regulations, and activities of major players in the industries.
- Act as an advocate for customer needs to the business and product team.
- Be the technology evangelist for the legal solutions that Thomson Reuters sell.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a software/SaaS solution consultant/pre-sales.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
- Subject Matter Expert - Understand needs and opportunities for legal technology and software.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing global reporting requirements.
- Strong commercial skills, including an understanding of the sales process.
- Consultative and problem-solving skills.
- Business proficiency in both Japanese and English preferred.
