Commercial Performance Excellence & Capability Manager
About This Role
This position is expected to optimize Diageo's commercial performance and drive capability development across the organization.
You will lead strategic Go-to-Market/Route-to-Market(G2M/R2M) projects with building and arranging an operational process and help both field and planning member's capability development.
You Will Be Responsible ForPerformance excellence
Contribute G2M strategy development and planning by providing data-based trade and shopper insight.
Lead commercial activity effectiveness improvement and enhance execution quality by providing current holistic performance opportunities i.e. Customer coverage, # of call, MD utilization, T&E, working time, negotiation doc.
Operational excellence
Lead R2M strategy and planning to improve business effectiveness from wider perspective i.e. WS coverage, supply menu development.
Enhance commercial daily operation i.e. Stewardship, Supply and data/ information storage and mapping.
Facilitate key commercial mtg by co-working with CMM and NRM.
Capability improvement
Develop commercial capability enhancement strategy and actual training plan with HR/ Commercial Director etc.
Conduct periodical training for commercial.
Provide commercial performance improvement idea and support CD to develop commercial organization strategy from capability POV.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
Proven track record in FMCG industry (Food & beverage, Household, Home appliance etc), preferable with
Trade marketing or Commercial training (i.e. sales HR) experience.
Strong cross function collaboration skills, to streamline information and drive data-based decision making.
Strategic& visionary leadership to set the blueprint and to hold self/others accountable for results.
Skillful balance of strategic planning& operational execution.
Intellectual horsepower to act as think thank and bring in fresh perspective from industry/external.
Fluent Japanese and business level of English capability are mandatory.
