About the role
You must speak Japanese and English, be detail-oriented, and want to join an international market leader with a mission to help people.
We are looking for a Payments Processing Executive to join our team handling appointments, referrals, and healthcare provider payments for US Military Healthcare Facilities in Japan. You will take incoming calls from Japanese providers, translators, Military Healthcare Facilities, and patients for availability, referrals, and input claims. Translating invoices from Japanese to English may be required occasionally.
This role is based in our Akasaka office in Tokyo.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately and timely process authorizations and appointments
- Take incoming calls from Japanese healthcare providers, Military Healthcare Treatment Facilities, Japanese translators, and patients, and action follow-ups as required
- Help resolve claims issues on behalf of providers and patients, working with International SOS teams for timely and accurate resolution
- Input claims data onto the system
About you
- Experience in claims and billing is preferred
- Customer service skills
- Hospital/medical administration knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor's degree is desirable
- Professional level English language
- Native level Japanese language
- PC Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
