Responsibilities include monitoring defined value flows (revenue, accounts receivable, deferred assets, deferred liabilities) and ensuring accuracy of contract-level ledger and records.
Other responsibilities include monitoring blocked contracts, analyzing contract deviations, performing performance obligation checks, creating and approving revenue accounting contract data, and completing new order and revenue postings.
Additional responsibilities include setting up and changing contract documents and orders, checking and re-allocating trade price distributions, and reviewing recognized revenue related to cost of goods sold (COGS) allocations.
Contract asset, contract liability, and unearned revenue adjustments are also reconciled, and revenue accounting contracts are closed and contract assets and liabilities are settled.
Requirements include 5+ years of accounting or related accounting professional experience, SAP and ERP system experience, and communication with contract management and sales departments to lead accounting processing and decision-making.
Language requirements include English for HQ and AP communication and Japanese at a native level.
Management responsibilities are minimal, and there are no subordinates.
