Develop new client relationships, drive sales and revenue growth through new business acquisition, and identify opportunities for growth in the Japan market.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in technology consulting or software development to join our team.

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets
  • Establish a network of partners for market entry (strategy consultancies, design agencies)
  • Generate leads through marketing, networking, and outreach activities
  • Nurture and expand existing client relationships, identify up and cross-sell opportunities
  • Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and develop proposals and presentations to potential clients
  • Manage the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered successfully, post-sale
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular sales and pipeline reports to senior management

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales in technology consulting or related services industry
  • Background in computer science, engineering or IT strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Native Japanese communication and presentation skills
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in an international environment and across time zones
  • Hunter mentality with a farmer's mindset
  • Must be based in the greater Tokyo area
