Reporting to Regional Sales Business Director APAC as part of the Collins Defense Services Sales Team. Preferred location is Japan, but an exceptional candidate in Korea could also be considered. The role covers Collins Aerospace Aftermarket customers in Japan, Korea and other countries in North Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong Japanese language skills and good English language skills.
- Strong Sales and Marketing experience with Defense customers, contracts and organizations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting a range of Collins Aerospace aftermarket products and services for military customers.
- New business growth and maintaining recurring business with assigned customers, with emphasis on securing Long Term Agreements for recurring business.
- Developing and maintaining customer order forecasts and achieving customer territory business capture plan for Spares, MRO, Modification and Upgrades and Strategic long-term agreement programs.
- Marketing Collins Aerospace aftermarket products and services to assigned customers, achieving spares, retrofits, Mods & Upgrades, repairs, and long term order plans for assigned customers.
- Identifying business opportunities and developing strategies for achieving business growth in assigned regions, including identification of potential product retrofit concept opportunities.
- Coordinating proposal activities and lead negotiations to successful closure, gathering and communicating market intelligence information.
- Understanding assigned customer's organization, culture, structure, key decision makers and decision making process.
- Providing recommendations to support repair, spares and inventory forecast/planning as well as for corporate strategy initiatives.
- Developing and managing a strong positive business relationship with customers, driving the improvement of Customer Satisfaction metrics.
- Owning the Aftermarket customer interface for Collins Aerospace for assigned customers, coordinating across Collins Aerospace CDS and Business Unit representatives to develop and capture new business opportunities.
- Resolving of customer satisfaction issues, leveraging functional CDS and Business Unit Team members, facilitating and coordinating business meetings and executive visits as required.
- Developing and maintaining executive level customer information and strategy summaries, managing and documenting pursuits in the Company CRM (Microsoft Dynamics and Sales Force).
