Job Summary
The HR team seeks a Director, Human Resources to manage the HR team and all HR-related matters across the Japan Business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR team across the Japan business.
- Partner with SAS business units' leaders to develop action plans that achieve organizational objectives.
- Lead organizational change in a complex business environment.
- Collaborate with HR specialist teams in the development and implementation of employee programs and initiatives.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with governmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Twelve years of professional human resources generalist experience with expertise in employment, employee relations, salary administration, benefits, and training.
- Five years of experience in a HR leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale change initiatives.
- Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong consultative, influencing, conflict management, written, oral, interpersonal communication, analytical, organizational, and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to coach and provide feedback across teams.
- Experience navigating a multi-functional matrixed corporate environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop proven HR programs that align with business strategies.
- Strong business sense and ability to participate in business decisions.
- Team player with creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with Workday, project management, and tech industry.
