FINANCE & ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

You will be working as an Individual Contributor within a small team in our Tokyo Office, focusing on supporting financial and management accounting functions in Japan.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage month- and year-end financial closing, ensuring accurate and timely completion of entity financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with group reporting requirements and local reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate accounting and financial reporting processes and procedures continuously.
  • Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and functioning.
  • Work with external Company Secretary and Legal firms.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits and company tax return with external auditors and tax representative.
  • Handle banking activities, full set of accounts including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, payments, invoice booking, staff reimbursement, inter-company reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly reports for management review.
  • Perform basic HR & Office Administrative duties.
