Key Responsibilities
- Support customer issue resolution via phone and email, including payment requests and delayed payments.
- Address errors on invoices and manage customer data.
- Collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders to promote customer payment actions.
- Notify relevant customer information and risk changes based on interactions with customers.
- Ensure timely collection by understanding and pushing payment status.
- Manage bank guarantee details, amounts, and expiration dates to secure company credit risk exposure.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic functions.
- 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service roles.
- Experience working with SAP and Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, build relationships, and discuss financial issues.
- Excellent time management skills, organization, reliability, and business acumen.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Identify and prioritize problems requiring escalation to various stakeholders.
- Customer-centric approach, leading to win-win results.
- Results-driven and KPI-focused, balancing short-term gains with long-term benefits.
- Effective communication skills, able to ask clear questions and resolve unknowns.
- Ability to adapt to routine work and unexpected tasks alike.
Work Location
- Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan (5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station or 10-minute walk from Shiba Park)
Working Hours
- Flexible hours, with standard working hours of 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM (7 hours 30 minutes).
- No core hours, with a monthly reset of working hours from the 1st to the last day of each month.
Holidays
- Sundays and Saturdays.
- National holidays and public holidays as defined by law.
- New Year's holiday (December 30th - January 3rd).
- Summer vacation (July - September, Monday to Friday).
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
