They are advancing their products at a pace unmatched by any other company, and they are poised to accelerate the adoption of cashless payments in Japan alongside the financial life platform utilizing these payments.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
This position involves native Android application development and operations using Java and Kotlin.
You will collaborate closely with product managers and product designers to enhance and tailor the asset management and investment user experience. Responsibilities include prototyping new features, implementing redesigned components, and handling technical tasks such as improving unit tests and system architecture.
Develop and operate native Android applications (Java, Kotlin).
Work closely with product managers and designers to optimize and personalize investment and asset management features.
Prototype new functionality and implement design renewals.
Execute technical improvements, including enhancements to unit testing and application architecture.
■ Experience and Qualifications
3–5 years of in-house Android application development experience.
Experience with object-oriented design and development in Java or Kotlin.
Knowledge of modern mobile development methodologies and Android frameworks.
Experience integrating with REST APIs.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks independently.
Business-level proficiency in either English or Japanese
(Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent is acceptable).
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing applications in securities, finance, or related domains.
Experience implementing features alongside unit tests (TDD).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise).
Experience operating in-house services.
English proficiency at a business conversational level.
