We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with native or near-native (C2-level) English proficiency to support our global client projects.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the execution of international client projects by helping manage schedules, documentation, internal communication, and daily coordination tasks.

Most client meetings take place online, but occasional in-person meetings may occur. Additionally, 1–2 days per week of in-office work at our Tokyo office (Ochanomizu) are required.

Therefore, you must currently reside in Tokyo or a nearby area, be able to commute without difficulty, and be available for an in-person interview in Tokyo.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with project coordination, scheduling, and information management
• Prepare meeting materials, take minutes, and create progress reports
• Organise client requests and share information with internal teams
• Coordinate with creative, digital marketing, and analytics teams
• Assist with research and documentation related to social media, SEO, online ads, and content strategy
• Conduct research on digital marketing trends in the Japanese market

Requirements

・Must-have

• Able to work 1–2 days per week at the Tokyo office
• English proficiency at a near-native / C2 level (both written and spoken)
• Ability to handle client communication, meeting minutes, and documentation in English
• Japanese proficiency sufficient for internal communication (spoken and written)
• Minimum 1 year of professional work experience
• Must be able to write business emails and communicate effectively in a professional environment
• Currently residing in Tokyo or nearby and able to commute weekly
• Able to attend an in-person interview in Tokyo

・Nice-to-have

• Experience in project management, marketing, or account coordination
• Ability to use Google Sheets, Google Docs, and basic productivity tools
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts
• Experience working in Japan or familiarity with Japanese market norms

• Only candidates currently living in Japan who can attend an in-person interview in Tokyo are eligible to apply.
