Our client offers a distinct and user-friendly asset management service that can be seamlessly integrated into daily life as a specialized smartphone brokerage firm. They are advancing their products at a pace unmatched by any other company, and they are poised to accelerate the adoption of cashless payments in Japan alongside the financial life platform utilizing these payments.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Design and build a robust, scalable, and stable infrastructure
Create infrastructure that allows for easy maintenance, patching, and upgrades without downtime
Develop infrastructure with AWS regional failure tolerance
Collaborate with Security Engineers to provision a secure infrastructure
Automate AWS deployments to ensure rapid delivery of cloud services to developers
Provide automated solutions for developers to easily deploy resources on AWS
■ Experience and Qualifications
3-5 years of technical experience in designing and building AWS-based infrastructure solutions
Experience in managing production-level infrastructure changes and releases for high-traffic, business-critical systems
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and payment industry compliance standards
Experience in production incident management and cross-team collaboration
Extensive hands-on experience with computing, storage, and analytical services on AWS
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools in AWS such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and CloudRun
Experience with Linux internals and system administration
Experience with cloud services monitoring, detection, and response
Expertise in cloud infrastructure service patching and upgrades
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Business proficiency in either English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent)
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing over 200 servers in a production, customer-facing cloud environment
Experience in disaster recovery for cloud systems, including improvements for RTO and RPO
Experience with other cloud service providers (e.g., GCP)
Skilled in cloud services performance tuning, cost control, and management
Experience using and contributing to open-source tools
Published papers, blogs, or articles related to IT compliance and security risk management
Experience in infrastructure design and build within securities, finance, or similar industries
Experience in operating in-house services
