Senior Backend Engineer (Java / Golang)

(Only for candidates residing in Japan)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop
    scalable, high-performance backend services using Java or Golang.
  • Architect microservices
    within a Spring Boot/Spring Cloud ecosystem to enhance platform modularity.
  • Manage containerized deployments
    using Kubernetes and Docker across public cloud infrastructures.
  • Optimize system performance
    and troubleshoot complex issues across the entire web development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
    in an agile environment to deliver mission-critical E-commerce features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience
    in software development with a focus on Java or Golang.
  • Strong expertise in Microservices architecture
    , specifically using Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s)
    and maintaining applications in public cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • In-depth understanding of web development
    , including RESTful APIs, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Currently residing in Japan
    with a valid working visa (No overseas applications).

Desired Skills

  • Experience designing and maintaining
    robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficiency in building internal tools
    and automation scripts using
    Python
    .
  • Experience in the
    E-commerce or Fintech sectors
    handling high-traffic transactions.
  • Knowledge of
    distributed messaging systems
    like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Japanese language ability is a plus.
