A fast-growing AI company in Tokyo is scaling its product suite across AI Chat, AI Speech, and AI Agents — and is looking for a strong Backend Engineer to help design and power the systems behind it.

What You'll Work On
Design, build, and operate backend systems for AI-driven products
Develop APIs powering AI agents, chat systems, and speech technologies
Build scalable microservices handling high-traffic B2B SaaS workloads
Integrate LLMs and ML models into production environments
Optimize performance, latency, and large-scale data processing
Collaborate with product, design, and ML teams to ship real features
Tech Focus
Python backend development (core language)
Cloud:
GCP / AWS / Azure
Docker, Kubernetes, microservices
Scalable API design & database optimization
CI/CD, monitoring, and production reliability
We're Looking For Engineers Who Have:5+ years building applications with Python
Experience developing SaaS or high-load B2B products
Strong background in cloud & container environments
Experience designing scalable backend architectures
Interest or exposure to AI/ML, LLMs, or AI agents
Experience working in startup or fast-moving environments
Nice to have:
Experience with NLP/ML systems, chatbot or AI agent development, full-stack exposure, or 0→1 product building.
