Our client offers a distinct and user-friendly asset management service that can be seamlessly integrated into daily life as a specialized smartphone brokerage firm. They are advancing their products at a pace unmatched by any other company, and they are poised to accelerate the adoption of cashless payments in Japan alongside the financial life platform utilizing these payments.
■ Your Role and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Backend Application system for the product (PHP, Java, SpringBoot, MySQL/AuroraDB)
Design complex, large-scale systems to support high-throughput applications
Utilize infrastructure effectively to address large-scale challenges
Develop tools and contribute to open-source projects whenever possible
Embrace problem-solving as a fundamental approach – always aim to identify the root cause
■ Experience and Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Backend Application development for company products
Professional experience with Java/PHP, or if unfamiliar with Java, strong skills in other programming languages such as Scala, Python, and Go
Interest in and ability to learn additional coding languages as needed
Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed caching
Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Thorough understanding of concurrency and distributed computing
Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or 5+ years of equivalent experience in SaaS platform development
Business proficiency in either English or Japanese (JLPT N1)
■ Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience with implementing platform components like RESTful APIs, Pub/Sub Systems, and Database Clients
Experience with AWS services
System design experience and development of web systems that handle massive transactions or require scalability
Experience with Microservices
Experience in system development within securities, finance, or related industries
Experience in developing in-house products/services
